The Interpreter Mentorship Program provides one-on-one mentoring
between experienced, certified American Sign Language interpreters and
newly-graduated interns in real-life settings.
The program prepares interns for the state credentialing exams,
and assists with their professional development. Subject specialty
and skill building workshops for interns help to further enhance interpreting
skills. Currently, the Mentorship Program works with newly graduated interpreters
from out of state as well as from the Southeast/Southshore, Northshore,
and Northeast regions of Massachusetts.
Skill building workshops are also held for novice and working interpreters
who are not formal participants in the program.
For more information on the Interpreter Mentorship Program and workshops,
please contact Irma Kahle at 617-254-4041 TTY/Voice, or fill out our online
